**Please be aware that our main form of communication with our customers is via E-MAIL. For that reason, please do not disregard communications from us without first reading the entire message carefully and please check your e-mail regularly for correspondence concerning your order. *IF THE ITEMS YOU ARE ORDERING ARE FOR A PERFORMANCE OR COMPETITION, PLEASE ENTER THE DATE NEEDED IN THE "NEED BY DATE" SECTION OF THE ORDER FORM. Please do this even if the stated shipping time seems to meet your needs for delivery. Providing us with date references such as "ASAP" (as soon as possible) are simply not specific enough.

*Any shortages or discrepancies in an order must be reported to River's Edge within 5 days of delivery of the order to the address provided.


When determining your "NEED BY DATE", please keep in mind any dress rehearsals, photo sessions, etc. and not just the actual date of your performance or competition. It is always best to order as early as possible and to take careful measurements. Sizes in dancewear and skatewear are generally smaller than the same size in regular street clothing. Please read our measuring directions in the "Sizing Charts" section.

Peak performance times (portions of the Spring), the back-to-(dance)school rush in the Fall, and the Winter holiday season can cause delays in manufacturing at certain factories so allow additional time for receipt of your garments. Time frames mentioned on the web site are estimates only and are in regards to when the item could ship from our location (not delivery time). They are not a guarantee of delivery time. For example, if an item description mentions "ALLOW 3-5 WEEKS FOR SHIPMENT", this refers to the 3-5 weeks it will normally take for the item to arrive at our location. At that time it will be shipped. The date of delivery to the customer will depend on the delivery location.

*In the event of non-delivery by a specific date, River's Edge Dancewear will not be held liable for any damages beyond the actual monies paid by the customer for the items ordered.

*We are not responsible or liable for non-delivery, delivery delay, or damages caused by a transportation company, weather conditions, etc. We are not liable for items that are lost, stolen, or damaged AFTER delivery.

*Orders are shipped to the exact address that is submitted with your order. Double check this information when placing your order. Please contact customer service as soon as you are able if you notice a mistake. A representative will gladly assist in making any changes for you as long as your order has not yet shipped. Processing fees, up to $15.00 or more may apply if any shipping information needs modification after an order has shipped. If you contact UPS yourself for shipping address changes and UPS then charges us fees for these changes, these fees will be charged to you.

* MADE-TO-ORDER ITEMS/SPECIAL ORDER ITEMS/ITEMS DESCRIBED AS "THIS ITEM IS MADE AFTER YOU ORDER" CANNOT BE CANCELED ONCE THE ITEMS HAVE GONE INTO PRODUCTION.

*Please note: Our customer service staff that answers the phones is not the staff that processes the on-line orders. If there are special notes concerning your order that we need to know, please include this information in the "COMMENTS" section of the on-line order form.

*Prices, colors, fabrics, styles and availability are subject to change.

*Color charts are provided for your reference but due to the variability and limitations of computers, we do NOT claim that the colors you see in the color charts or in the photographs will resemble the color of the garment you receive. FABRIC SAMPLES ARE AVAILABLE FOR QUANTITY ORDERS.

*Those items which have a foil or glitter finish are by their very nature more delicate than those which do not have such a finish. Follow washing directions very carefully and treat these garments gently.

*In general, Cotton/Lycra fabrics have a matte (not shiny) finish and Nylon/Lycra fabrics have a shiny finish. Please feel free to contact us if you have a question concerning how a certain fabric will fit your needs.

*We reserve the right to make corrections to errors or omissions in any information found on this web site.

*Items that are available in both children and adult sizes list the (lesser) child price first. Both adult and child prices are listed on the page of each item and you will be charged accordingly.



RETURN POLICY

*All sales of music CDs, tights, body liners, dance belts, hair nets, and briefs are final. ***There are no returns accepted on these items.***

*To give you the best choices in color, style, and fabric most of our garments are made to order or special ordered, based on your practice and performance needs (EXCLUDING garments made by Leo's, Body Wrappers, Eurotard).

If you wish to return these MADE-TO-ORDER or SPECIAL ORDERED items (we do not accept "exchanges"--see below) you will be given credit for only 30% of the price of the item.

If you have any questions about size determination, color choices, etc., please contact us BEFORE you place your order. We will be happy to assist you.

*Returns of allowable items will only be accepted within 30 (thirty) days after shipping. NO EXCEPTIONS. There will be no refund on shipping charges. Allow 3-4 weeks for the processing of your return. You MUST include a copy of your order form or a completed return form (found in your shipping box) so that we can accurately issue a refund. Returns sent without documentation cannot be processed.

*Returns of merchandise totaling over $75.00 will be charged a 5% restocking fee. We reserve the right to limit the return of an order over $300.

ALL ITEMS RETURNED TO US MUST NOT BE WORN OR SOILED IN ANY WAY. ALL TAGS MUST BE ATTACHED; SHOE BOXES, SHOE LACES, RIBBONS, ETC. MUST BE RETURNED IN NEW CONDITION.

Items returned to us WILL NOT BE EXCHANGED for other items. You will be issued the appropriate refund on your return and a new order can be placed.

*WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO LIMIT THE RETURNS ON QUANTITY/GROUP ORDERS. Contact us for details.

PAYMENTS

*We accept VISA, American Express, Mastercard, Discover, and personal checks or money orders made out to River's Edge Dancewear for the full amount of your order in United States funds.

*Orders paid by check will not be processed until your check clears your bank account. To expedite your order please use a credit card or send a money order.

*CREDIT CARDS ARE USUALLY PROCESSED WITHIN 48 HOURS OF THE ORDER BEING PLACED BY THE CUSTOMER. It may be necessary to charge you for shipping separately from your order if the shipping costs have not been determined when your order is placed (i.e. if you request items to be shipped "as ready" rush shipping arrangements have to be made, etc).

PRIVACY POLICY:

We do not share your personal information with other groups or businesses. If items are being shipped directly from another location other than ours, your shipping address and phone number will be provided to those locations. Your e-mail address would not be shared.
